We require the skills of an AFTER PRESS OPERATOR to join our talented Production Team, who will be responsible for the manufacturing of quality moulded fibre egg cartons. We offer attractive working conditions and benefits to our employees and their families: Competitive starting base rate, $18.55/hr Shift Premiums $.50/hr Night shift Safety Shoe Allowance Group Health insurance benefits Group retirement plan Employee and family assistance program POSITION REQUIREMENTS: New hires assigned days or night shift Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday 12 hour Continental Shift, 8:00 - 8:00 DUTIES: Carry out General duties such as cleaning, painting, organizing and other manual tails Remove scrap, paper waste and other materials from machinery and surrounding areas Assist coworkers to move, sort and pie materials and products, manually or with power equipment Operate equipment and complete checks to ensure compliance with production, process & quality specifications Perform additional duties as required by Supervision in compliance with relevant legislation and safety procedures. May utilize a forklift or other equipment to move/transport materials IDEAL: 18 years of age Previous manufacturing experience is an asset with the ability to work safely and productively Physically capable of standing for long periods of time with the ability to perform repetitive movements Good communication, ability to work as a team, and in cooperation with colleagues on a shift of 35+ people Reliable, comfortable with labor-intensive work and have a great attitude Recruitment Process: In person interview(s) Job Shadowing Electronic assessment Criminal Background check and Drug Screening
