This job post is exclusively for the role of staffing for these healthcare companies. Job Summary: In this role, the RN will work for about 6 months for a crisis home working with individuals with intellectual disabilities. The RN is responsible for overseeing clinical care, ensuring quality standards, and providing training and support to staff serving individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in the Crisis home setting. This role ensures that nursing practices are compliant with applicable state and federal regulations, enhances staff competence through education, and supports best practices in health care delivery to optimize the health, dignity, and quality of life and safety of the individuals in the home. Shift:The hours for this job are Monday-Friday 9a-5p. The location is in Silver Creek GA, near Rome. Registered Nurse Compensation and Benefits: Pay starting at $40/hr (Compensation is variable and depends on experience) After this contract ends, RN will be placed in our PRN staffing pool. (Compensation is variable and depends on the type of shift/visit, day of the week and complexity of care provided.) We offer medical, dental and vision benefits through Cigna if you maintain FT hours (32+/wk) PRN pool shifts offered: 8-12 hour shifts, 1 hour nursing visits, 1 hour medication management an assessments visits. Registered Nurse Responsibilities:Clinical Oversight & Quality Assurance Monitor and evaluate the delivery of nursing and health-related services within the IDD programs to ensure compliance with care plans, medication administration, treatment protocols, and safety standards.Conduct nursing assessments, audits, and reviews (medical charts, medication records, incident reports) to identify areas for improvement and mitigate risks.Collaborate with attending physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, and other clinical professionals to ensure coordinated care.Oversee medication management, including policies and procedures, ensuring proper storage, administration, documentation, and audit compliance.Be available for consultation/advice to staff on complex health issues, clinical emergencies, and care coordination.Assist in interviewing, selecting, hiring and training for employees for the crisis homes.Provide consultation and assistance regarding crisis intervention and critical incident support.Review and approve staff documentation which includes LPN and staff notes on a weekly basis. Review direct care staff progress notes and discuss with the appropriate staff member any discrepancies notes on the record (i.e. lack of documentation, inappropriate restrictions or lack of appropriate consequences; situations in which the current behavior program or treatment approach were not followed appropriately; check each report to ensure that time, date, signatures are correct. Training & Staff Development Design, deliver, and evaluate training programs for direct care staff, licensed practical nurses, and other relevant personnel on topics such as: • Medication administration & safety • Infection control & hygiene practices • Recognition and response to changes in health status • Behavior-related health issues common in the IDD population • Emergency procedures & first aid • Person-centered care and health promotionParticipate in the development of orientation curricula for new staff and continuous education sessions (in-service) to maintain clinical competency and compliance with licensing/certification requirements.Mentor and coach staff on implementing best practices, supporting professional growth, and ensuring consistency and fidelity to care standards. Participate in professional growth activities such as conferences, classes, team meetings and program visitations Registered Nurse Requirements: Current unrestricted RN license in GA Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification Proof of Negative TB test within the last 12 months Valid GA driver's license Insured and reliable automobile Ability to work independently and with directions Compassionate and friendly demeanor Ability to speak, read and write English fluently Excellent customer service skillsAbility to lift and transfer adult patients safely and without restriction Trinity Life at Home is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
