Equipment Operator - 2nd Shift

Description: Determines the use of proper equipment and method of loading, lifting, positioning, unloadingand/or moving various items within the capacity of the equipment,Operates fork lifts and tugs to move, lift, transport and position items not limited to skids, cratesand crated material, raw stock, pallets, salvage and scrap material; completed large assemblies andother equipment, not limited to machine tools, machinery, jigs and fixtures; loads and unloads,trucks and other transportation equipment; and moves large assemblies and parts from one locationto another during process of fabrication or assembly. Guides others and adheres to ESH safetyprotocols in the loading and securing of material and equipment.Procures, receives, inventories, stocks, issues and delivers custodial and maintenance supplies,chemicals, landscaping equipment and specialized personal protective equipment for theSanitation and Maintenance departments. Verifies that materials being stocked match proper itemnumber, description and quantity. Updates inventory records through automated maintenance management system.Equips and positions 4 and 8 pack scooters for factory tours, as required.Transports, empties and replaces Lockheed Martin Proprietary Information (LMPI) containersMust be able to lift 25-50 lbs.Basic Qualifications:Experience operating Fork Lifts, pallet jacks, stock pickers, tractors, power sweepers/scrubbers, tugs, scooters, golf carts and necessary equipment to secure loads.Desired Skills:Must be able to obtain licenses and certifications as required by the Company to operate equipmentrequired for the job.Understands practices, procedures, training and plant safety regulations for movement of itemsthroughout the Factory.
