Job Full Description Public Housing Repair Technician A local government department is seeking several full-time maintenance workers. Rental property maintenance workers provide a pleasant living environment by ensuring that rental units are painted and all appliances are in excellent working order. Responsibilities: As a repair technician, you will be working indoors cleaning, removing/replacing flooring, painting, and performing basic plumbing and electrical repairs. Bending, stooping, scrubbing, lifting, sanding, painting, and driving an automobile are also required. Qualifications: Valid WV Drivers License Reliable transportation Should possess basic hand tools Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds. Commercial painting experience is preferred Evaluation-hire position Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm with potential for overtime. Pay rate is $15.04/hour.
