Our independently owned BrightStar Care of Fort Worth, makes more possible for the community and clients it serves.  PRN Registered Nurse (RN) Job Duties: Provide direct skilled client care under the supervision of the Director of NursingWork collaboratively with team to help meet positive client care outcomesMonitor patient’s condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changesProvide those services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skillAssures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws We are currently seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes. This role is ideal for a nurse with a flexible schedule, a strong foundation in hospital-based care, and hands-on experience with IVs and infusions. Must have availability after hours and weekends.Requirements: Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of Texas Minimum 1 year of hospital experience required Proficiency in IV therapy and medication infusions is a must Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license/auto insurance Excellent clinical, organizational, and communication skills Home health experience preferred, but not required Experience in medical telecommunication preferred, but not required2 year experience (Home health strongly preferred) practicing your skillsProof of eligibility to work in the USClean background and criminal recordCPR certification (hands-on only) through AHA or ARCNegative TB test  Key Responsibilities: Provide direct acute nursing care in the patient’s home Administer IV medications and infusions per physician orders Monitor patient status and report changes to appropriate parties Document care provided in compliance with agency and regulatory standards Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and self-care techniques Why Join Us?
