This role involves mechanical assembly, precision work, and adherence to strict quality and safety standards within a cleanroom setting.The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with small components, following detailed instructions, and performing hands-on assembly tasks that support cost, quality, and schedule objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform mechanical assembly using various hand tools, fasteners, and precision torque toolsAssemble machined housings, circuit cards, mirrors, motors, and optical assembliesConduct soldering, repair, and inspection of electrical and mechanical systemsPerform detailed hand manipulation including wire sleeving, soldering, and bonding materialsWork safely with approved chemicals in accordance with safety guidelinesObtain and maintain required process certificationsCross-train in multiple production areas to support daily manufacturing needsSupport continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, cost, and scheduleWork limited overtime as required to meet production demandsQualificationsExperience in mechanical and/or electronic assembly within a manufacturing environmentAbility to work in a cleanroom environment and follow strict proceduresExperience using hand tools, torque tools, and soldering equipmentStrong attention to detail and manual dexterityAbility to read and follow detailed work instructionsWillingness to obtain required certificationsFlexible to support overtime as neededPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periodsPerform repetitive hand and wrist motionsManual dexterity to handle small components and perform fine detail workAbility to lift and move materials as neededBenefits provided: 401K, medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law.Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is an equal opportunity employer.
