Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - $70/hr - Scappoose, OR - In-Person - 6 MonthsPosition Overview:The Board Certified Behavior Analyst provides consultation, coaching, behavioral evaluations, and develops/implements individualized behavior intervention plans for students with academic and behavioral needs. This role functions as a clinical instructor responsible for observing, assessing, and supporting behavioral service delivery in a school setting.Assignment Details:Location: Scappoose, ORStart Date: 01/26/2026End Date: Approximately 6 monthsSchedule: Monday-FridayHours: 24 hours per weekPay Rate: $70/hourModality: In-personOpenings: 1 positionDetails of Assignment: Providing ongoing behavioral support for a 5th-grade student with significant behavioral and medical needs (severe behaviors, seizure disorder, Pica, dysregulation, non-verbal communication). Primary assignment is 1:1 support; district is working toward inclusion through a push-in model. Responsibilities include behavior plan implementation, data collection, staff coaching, and coordinated behavioral support. Behaviors include elopement, hitting/kicking/biting, toileting needs, seizure monitoring, AAC device support, and Pica-related safety. Position requires strong experience with high-needs behavioral profiles, crisis-response familiarity, and a calm, adaptive approach. Responsibilities: Conduct behavioral evaluations, functional assessments, and data-driven analysis. Develop, implement, and adjust individualized behavior intervention plans. Provide coaching, modeling, and consultation to educational staff. Observe, support, and assess behavior programming within an inclusion framework. Maintain compliant documentation and follow professional standards of practice.
