The Quick Lube Service Technician will be responsible for inspecting and lubricating cars in a quick and thorough manner. Benefits: Competitive CompensationA great working environment where you’ll be supported by a team of professionalsMedical, Dental & Vision Insurance401K Retirement Savings PlanPTODiscounts on vehicle purchases VERIFY WITH DEALERAdvancement opportunities for high performers  Responsibilities Performs multipoint inspectionAdvises service consultant of additional workService grease fittings, universal joints and steering knuckles, using hand or compressed air powered grease gunInspect fluid levels of steering gear, power steering reservoir, transmission, differential, rear axel housings, and shacklesCheck air pressure of tiresLubricate moving parts with specified lubricantsDrain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oilAdd water to radiator and batteryReplace oil and air filtersInspect all vehicles for additional repairs neededDemonstrates behaviors consistent with the company's vision, mission and values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliersAdheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standardsFollow company safety procedures to avoid exposure to fumes, dirt and harsh chemicals Qualifications Must meet company's requirements for employmentAbility to read and comprehend written instructions and informationKnowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenanceMust have a valid driver's licenseAbility to drive manual transmission vehiclesPrior experience as a technicians helper or apprenticeDemonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills Physical Requirements & Working Conditions: Exposure to inclement weatherAbility to operate an automobileProlonged periods of standing, stooping and bendingExerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently and/or greater then 10 pounds of force constantly to move objectsRequires walking or standing to a significant degree, or requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and or pulling of arm or leg controls, or requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and /or pulling of materials We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws
