In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring the quality rigor and manufacturing readiness of our cutting-edge compressor products. Located in Sidney, OH, your efforts will support early compressor development, pilot builds, and pre-production validation activities, helping to bring innovative products from concept to production. As a Quality Technician for Advanced Manufacturing Technologies, you will: Conduct part inspections using CMMs and other metrology equipment, utilizing both on-machine programming and 3D CAD models for simulation. Gauge New Product Development hardware and analyze data across various gaging systems. Perform quality systems installations, qualifications, capability studies, and gage R&R's for assembly and machining processes. Assist in the development, validation, and maintenance of inspection methods and quality documentation. Engage in the implementation and training of new quality inspection systems. Provide training on inspection systems to technical personnel. Participate in diverse projects aimed at driving continuous improvement. Adhere to all safety and regulatory requirements. Required education, experience & skills: Minimum of three years of experience in a manufacturing or quality environment. Experience programming a CMM or similar equipment. Able to manage multiple quality systems projects while supporting production needs (up to 15% travel). Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a creative approach to challenges. Familiarity with technical drawings and understanding of GD&T. Theoretical and practical knowledge of SPC and data-driven decision-making. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Legal authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available for this position. Preferred education, experience & skills: Understanding of part datums and GD&T standards. Strong collaboration skills for engaging with various organizational levels. Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies. Familiarity with machining and assembly processes.
