We are excited to welcome a motivated and experienced Tax Analyst to our expanding Global Tax Team. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Global Tax Accounting and Reporting, you will play a crucial role in various areas of income tax, including compliance, research, planning, and tax accounting. This position offers the opportunity to develop strong technical and interpersonal skills while collaborating with business leaders. Additionally, you have the flexibility to work in-office, fully remotely, or a hybrid of both. Key Responsibilities: Assist with global income tax compliance tasks such as: Preparing federal, state, and international tax returns. Calculating and filing quarterly income tax estimates and ensuring timely payments. Collaborating with finance, accounting, and treasury teams to gather necessary data for income tax calculations. Providing technical support for U.S. international tax concepts like GILTI, FDII, 163(j), and BEAT. Preparing Form 1118 and related foreign tax credit calculations. Preparing Forms 5471, 5472, and necessary disclosures. Coordinating with local teams regarding statutory financials and income tax returns for foreign subsidiaries. Support ongoing tax planning projects through research and modeling to forecast tax impacts. Assist with responses to inquiries from tax authorities related to notices and examinations. Stay updated on tax law changes, conducting research and analysis to apply relevant laws to support tax positions. Help prepare the quarterly and annual global income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740, including tax reserves and required disclosures. Learn how Genesys tax utilizes AI tools for streamlining workflows and automating tasks. Maintain the global tax filing calendar to ensure timely reporting and payments. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master's Degree in Taxation preferred. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or currently pursuing. 1 to 3 years of tax experience in public accounting or a large multinational corporation, with Big Four experience preferred. Experience in post-TCJA U.S. federal tax compliance, including Forms 5471, 8865, and foreign tax credits, preferred. Familiarity with ASC 740 income tax accounting preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Experience with OneSource Income Tax and OneSource Tax Provision preferred. Experience with Workday ERP System is a plus. Detail-oriented with high accuracy. Strong analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills. Able to work independently while managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships and collaborating within the tax team. This position is eligible for remote work. Compensation: The anticipated salary range for this role is between $62,000.00 - $109,000.00, depending on experience, qualifications, and skills.
