Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated professional to coordinate human resources activities, such as benefits administration, and maintain personnel records. This role involves a variety of HR functions, including recruitment, record-keeping, and employee relations. Join our team in Nicholasville, a charming city in the heart of Kentucky known for its friendly community and vibrant local culture. Responsibilities Conduct employee hiring processes. Recruit and screen candidates for hourly and skill-based positions. Assist in recruiting and screening for salaried positions. Maintain personnel records for all employees. Keep records of insurance coverage and personnel transactions, including hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations. Prepare employee separation notices and related documentation. Represent the company in community involvement activities. Maintain open communication between management and the hourly workforce to resolve issues. Manage attendance program guidelines. Enforce an open-door policy to address employee questions and concerns. Greet guests and direct them to appropriate personnel. Answer all incoming calls. Identify manpower needs and place employees in departments accordingly. Follow up on disciplinary actions with supervisors and managers. Utilize required computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and ADP. Record employee information such as personal data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance reviews, and termination details. Update employee files to document personnel actions and provide information for payroll and other uses. Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information to authorized persons. Compile and maintain records for employee benefits administration. Plan and participate in company-sponsored functions. Maintain confidentiality of records. Comply with all federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations. Conduct housekeeping for personal work areas and shared facility spaces. Work Environment The work environment is generally quiet with controlled temperatures. However, conditions on the plant floor may differ, requiring personal protective equipment. All employees must comply with safety policies and procedures.
