Radiotherapy Specialist PURPOSE The Radiotherapy Specialist plays a crucial role in collaborating with key customers and regulators to secure essential radiopharmaceutical licenses. This position involves providing technical training and support for licensing logistics, operating primarily in the southeastern U.S. covering major cities like Atlanta, Birmingham, Jacksonville, and Nashville. Expect to travel up to 50% for the role. The candidate should reside within the service area, preferably in Atlanta or Birmingham. YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Engage directly with key customers and regulatory bodies to facilitate radiopharmaceutical licensing. Profile customers and drive business growth. Assist customer sites with the state amendment process. Deliver training mandated by agreement states. Provide instruction on radiation safety, handling, and administration. Support sites with establishing dial settings using a NIST calibration source. Conduct technical in-services and assist with licensing logistics. Address inquiries from radiation safety committees. Build relationships and deliver training for state regulators and inspectors. Maintain accurate information in the site licensing database. Mentor field personnel to enhance their licensing knowledge and comfort level with key customers. Foster clinical relationships with oncology customers, advocating for Xofigo among appropriate patients. Support the development of training and educational marketing materials. Develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in nuclear medicine and radiation oncology. Nurture positive relationships with state regulators and KOLs in the field. WHO YOU ARE Bayer seeks candidates who possess the following qualifications: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree. A current license in Nuclear Medicine technology, Radiation Therapy, or Nuclear Pharmacy. Expertise in state licensing processes. Ability to collaborate effectively within teams. Strong clinical expertise in oncology. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time. Employees may be subject to further credentialing as a condition of employment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of five years of experience in the industry or clinical setting; experience in commercial and/or clinical development is preferred. Advanced degree in Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy, Medical Imaging, or Radiochemistry. Experience in oncology, particularly prostate cancer. Project management experience is a plus. Employees can expect a competitive salary range between $157,600.00 - $236,400.00, along with potential bonuses or commissions. Additional benefits include healthcare, vision, dental, retirement plan, PTO, and sick leave. This salary range is an estimate and may be adjusted based on the applicant's location, relevant experience, skills, and other factors.
