Responsibilities: • Work closely with the construction project manager to oversee and coordinate the bid process for vendors and subcontractors • Prepare estimates, written proposals, budgets, costs, and updates for clients and project managers • Inspect the construction site to collect necessary client requirement information • Revisit previously submitted proposal and budgets with clients • Calculate construction materials, product costs, labor, and time to estimate overall cost for construction projects Qualifications: • Comprehension of research methodology, accounting, data and risk analysis, and estimation metrics is crucial • A Bachelors’ degree in construction management, civil engineering, accounting, or a related field is required • Valid Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) certification from the American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE) is a plus • Critical thinking, analytical skills, and very strong math skills are required • Extensive experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and construction estimating software Compensation: $80,000• Compensation: $80,000 per year
