Jason Reynolds for Senate - Fredericksburg, VA
Apply NowJob Description
Government for the people, not the profits. The movement for a working-class Virginia starts here. Note: If you are simply looking to sign the petition or volunteer for general tasks, please join our Discord or visit our website. Jason Reynolds for Senate is a 100% worker-powered, no-PAC movement. We are running a statewide campaign while our candidate and our Campaign Manager (CM) both work full-time jobs. We are proving that you don't need corporate money to build power—you just need better organization. Because this is a grass roots effort, the position is in a volunteer capacity. ==================================================================================== The Role: Our Campaign Manager (CM) needs a right-hand coordinator to own the "daily friction." You aren't shadowing the candidate; you are clearing the path for him. You will work directly with the CM to ensure the candidate’s limited hours are 100% focused on voters, not logistics. Key Responsibilities: The Daily Mission Brief: Prepare a daily 1-page "Tactical Brief" for the candidate to read at 4:30 PM when he leaves his day job (routing, goals, and key contacts). Friction Removal: Ensure petition sheets are printed, clipboards are stocked, and transportation/parking is mapped out before the candidate arrives. The "Gatekeeper": Manage the candidate’s non-work schedule to protect his time from administrative clutter. SOP Management: Help the CM maintain the "Standard Operating Procedures" for our 11 District Captains. Qualifications: Logistics-Obsessed: You love spreadsheets, maps, and tight schedules. Asynchronous Warrior: You can take direction from a CM who is at work and execute it independently. Value-Aligned: You believe in Democratic Socialist principles and working-class power. Local to Falmouth/Fredericksburg: Crucial for physical logistics prep. The Commitment: This is a high-impact volunteer leadership position. Expect 10–15 hours per week, with a focus on the 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM "prep window."
