Job specification Candidate requirements Job specification Provide direct nursing care to critically ill neonates, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Act as a clinical leader, offering guidance and mentorship to NICU nursing staff and fostering professional development. Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the NICU, ensuring optimal resource allocation, equipment functionality, and compliance with hospital policies. Oversee patient care activities to ensure the delivery of evidence-based, family-centered care. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize neonatal outcomes and maintain a seamless continuum of care. Candidate requirements A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required; a Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or a related field is preferred. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas. Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience in a NICU setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership or charge nurse role. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is required. Certification in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing (RNC-NIC) or equivalent is highly desirable. Why work with us?
