Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Neurosurgery Discipline: Nurse Practitioner Duration: Ongoing 34 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Staff We are partnering with a very well respected Neurosurgery practice in the Bergen County, New Jersey area to help them identify a day shift Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to add to their amazing team. Position Overview Office-based position Non-rotating schedule Designed to support physicians and the midlevel provider team Schedule & Hours Four (4) days per week Workdays: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday (fixed weekly schedule) Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Lunch: 30-minute unpaid lunch Total daily hours: 8.5 hours Paid Time Off PTO accrual: 96 hours annually Salary Starting rate: $68/hr. Focus of the Role Provide office-based clinical and operational support Support physicians during clinic days to improve patient flow Support the existing midlevel team Improve efficiency and day-to-day operations Contribute to workflow optimization and process improvement Credentialing & Preparation Hospital credentialing process to begin upon acceptance Role structured to ensure readiness for future expanded responsibilities Collaboration & Team Expectations Work collaboratively with: Attending physicians Other APNs support staff Maintain a high standard of care and strong patient satisfaction Participate in biweekly midlevel team meetings focused on: Workflow review Efficiency improvements Operational problem-solving Qualifications Masters degree Active New Jersey NP or PA license Experience in neurosurgery, spine or orthopedics is REQUIRED DEA, BLS, ACLS About Jobot About Jobot At Jobot, we blend the power of AI with human connection to help healthcare professionals find work that truly matters.
