Health Pros Northwest is seeking Psych Nurse Practitioners (NP) to offer a wide range of healthcare services from health promotion and disease prevention to direct care and counseling within the Squaxin Island Tribal Health Clinic in Shelton, WA. This opportunity would be great for a Practitioner looking to add supplemental hours to their schedule & pick up additional shifts in an alternate working environment! Job Details: Part-time 10-12 hrs weekly IN PERSON ONLY - NO TELEHEALTH Job Responsibilities: Nurse Practitioner will develop treatment plans for acute and chronic diseases Educating and guiding patients on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle habits Understanding the changes in health promotion throughout the aging process Nurse Practitioner will conduct exams, as needed Performing diagnostic tests and screening evaluations Nurse practitioner manages overall patient care regarding lifestyle and development issues Emphasizing preventative care and disease management Nurse practitioner prescribes medications, as needed Ability to handle confidential information appropriately and set appropriate boundaries and limits with clients Job Qualifications: Washington Nurse Practitioner (NP) license - free of restrictions and previous discipline X Waiver Certified - DEA Ability to provide proof of ANCC Credentialing Current BLS certification Current TB/PPD/or Chest X-ray At least 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, ideally in a Behavioral Health environment Must be able to pass a pre employment drug screen Must be able to pass all required backgrounds among varying facilities Additional Position Details: Position Open Until Filled Orientation Date: ASAP Direct Deposit for your convenience Paid Sick Leave Backgrounds will be conducted upon all employees
