Electro-Mechanical Shop Apprentice

HEICO Component Repair Group is currently seeking a Shop Apprentice for its Miami Repair Station. The Shop Apprentice will receive hands-on training in testing aircraft components. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in testing, inspecting, and troubleshooting aircraft components according to FAA and company procedures. - Learn to operate specialized testing equipment and tools. - Document test results and maintain accurate records in compliance with FAA regulations. - Support the maintenance and repair workflow for components. - Maintain clean, organized and safe shop environment. Skills and Education requirements Ability to follow detailed instructions and technical documentation. Basic understanding of tools, instruments, and mechanical systems. Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced technicians. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work with aircraft components of varying size and weight. Ability to stand, bend, and reach for extended periods. Ability to work in a shop environment with exposure to noise, dust and chemicals.
