WAREHOUSE FACILITY MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN INDUSTRIAL

Industrial Maintenance Technician / Facility Handyman Gastonia, NC 28054 $18–$19+/hr (Based on Experience) 1st Shift | Monday–Friday Must be flexible between 5:00AM–5:00PM (Overtime may be required before or after shift within these hours — no 12-hour shifts) !! EXPERIENCE REQUIRED – Not Entry-Level !!  Minimum 1+ year of hands-on industrial or warehouse maintenance experience required. Must have experience performing facility repairs and working with powered industrial equipment. Position Overview Experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician needed for a distribution center environment. This role focuses on facility upkeep, forklift/equipment maintenance, and maintaining maintenance supplies. Responsibilities Perform preventive and routine maintenance on dock doors, levelers, and building systems Complete handyman-level repairs (drywall, painting, carpentry, minor electrical) Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment Perform daily equipment inspections and basic forklift maintenance Maintain maintenance logs and repair records Manage and replenish maintenance parts and supply inventory Coordinate with outside vendors for repairs and services Maintain OSHA and safety compliance standards Qualifications High School Diploma or GED 1+ year industrial/warehouse maintenance experience (Required) Forklift experience required (must obtain certification if not current) Proficient with hand and power tools Basic computer skills Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability
