Germantown, WI 1st Shift, Mon - Fri 7am - 3pm 2nd Shift, Mon - Thurs 3pm - 1pm $17 - $24 BOE SUMMARYThe Robotic Welding Cell Set-up/Operator is responsible for the daily setup and operation of a MIG welding robot in a fabrication shop environment to the customer's specifications concerning quantity and quality. He/she may be required to assist other operators as a helper on key work or machines as required; including housekeeping, maintenance work and material staging. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIESOperate manual and/or robotic welding equipment. Read shop orders and engineering drawings to determine specifications and accurately complete all required functions. Safely apply welds per specifications to produce completed product. Produce assemblies of metal work pieces to quality and efficiency standards, including repetitive lifting and placing metal work pieces into fixtures. Measure dimensions of metal work pieces to ensure conformance using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, templates, rulers, etc. Perform quality checks as prescribed and report issues to lead and/or supervisor. Accurately document and maintain information in written or electronic form. Safety complete finishing functions such as grinding, sanding, etc. Perform operator preventive or corrective maintenance on robotic systems, welders or components. Develop robotic path motions to maximize efficiency, safety and quality. Modify computer-controlled robot movements. Adopt and incorporate quality methods into their work. Ability to work independently. Positive and Strong work ethic.
