SPO Field Manager

Job Title: SPO Field Manager Experience Required: 5+ Years Location: Local (Relocation assistance considered on a case-by-case basis) Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract (as applicable) Location: (Fort Myers, FL) Position Overview The SPO Field Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on construction experience, and the ability to effectively manage labor crews while coordinating closely with General Contractors and site leadership. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-focused, and dependable, with a strong background in field operations and equipment handling. Key Responsibilities Manage and supervise labor crews to ensure efficient and safe job site operations Serve as the primary point of contact with General Contractors and site superintendents Track and report daily crew hours, tasks, and productivity Ensure job site compliance with safety standards, including fall and edge protection Operate construction equipment such as telehandlers and skid steers as required Maintain accurate paperwork, daily logs, and field documentation Promote a culture of reliability, accountability, and professionalism on site Required Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction or field operations Proven experience leading labor crews and coordinating with superintendents Hands-on experience operating telehandlers and/or skid steers Working knowledge of fall protection, edge protection, rough framing, and composite clean activities Strong organizational and communication skills Reliable, honest, and dependable with a strong work ethic Preferred Background Carpenter or skilled trades background Experience working on large-scale commercial construction projects Preferred previous project type experience: ex. Commercial Construction, Labor Crews, Working with Superintendents, Carpenter Background, Telehandler Operator, Fall Protection, Edge Protection, Rough Framing, Composite Clean.
