What You Can Expect Paragon 28, a Zimmer Biomet enterprise focused on orthopedic medical devices for the foot and ankle, is seeking an EHS Specialist to join our dynamic team in Englewood, Colorado. In this role, you will ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and corporate EHS standards, particularly those governed by OSHA, EPA, and FDA/cGMP regulations. You'll have the opportunity to foster a proactive safety culture among all employees and contractors. How You'll Create Impact Advise management and ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA, DOT, and company EHS regulations. Conduct and coordinate EHS inspections and routine facility-wide safety inspections. Develop and manage essential EHS programs, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Machine Guarding, and more. Document Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and Ergonomic Assessments to minimize injury risks. Lead initiatives that promote environmental sustainability. Create and deliver comprehensive EHS training modules for all staff. Track and report EHS Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and compliance metrics to leadership. Assist in the development and revision of EHS procedures and promotional materials. Coordinate a Safety Committee to promote EHS programs and responsibilities across the site. Manage the Environmental Risk Management System Program. Participate in equipment installations and process layouts. Other duties may be assigned as necessary. Your Background Bachelor's Degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 2 years EHS experience in a manufacturing or production environment, ideally in a regulated industry. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite. Thorough understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations. Excellent presentation skills for effective training delivery. Professional certification such as CSP, ASP, or OHST preferred. OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Certification preferred. Work Environment This position operates in an office and warehouse setting, using standard office equipment. Physical Demands The role requires frequent communication and close visual acuity for computer work and report reviews. Lifting up to 15 lbs. may be required. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position with typical business hours, with potential for additional hours as needed. Travel Expectations Up to 10% travel may be required. Compensation Data Salary Range: $56,000 - $75,000 USD annually, based on skills and experience. EOE
