Volunteer with Food Link (Roxbury location) - food ...

We are looking for volunteers for Food Link's secondary Roxbury location (main location is in Arlington) who are interested in food rescue and who want to make a difference in the community by reducing food waste and helping to provide food to people in need. Food Link is powered by over 350+ dedicated volunteers who work to collect, sort, and distribute food to our community partners. In Roxbury, volunteer shifts are available Monday through Friday between 8am and 3:30pm. In Roxbury, Food Link currently focuses on project-based shifts, so we do not yet offer regular weekly shifts. We encourage you to sign up to volunteer, as we frequently announce one-time or short-term opportunities via email/text that match sudden needs. Tasks may include sorting food at the warehouse at 30 Northampton St or driving your own car for deliveries to our recipient agencies. And stay tuned – our schedule is expanding!
