As a Submarine Engineering Support Analyst, you will provide vital programmatic support to our NAVSEA customers at our office located on New Jersey Ave in Washington, DC. Serco is a proud supporter of the US Navy through our Team Submarine contract, which aims to integrate various submarine-related activities into a cohesive organization. This initiative strives to eliminate inefficiencies in submarine research, development, acquisition, and maintenance processes, enhancing communication throughout the submarine force. Your Role: Deliver technical support in SSDR program management, Manual Change requests, and URO Program and Service Life extensions. Assist with certification efforts by reviewing audit cards. Create and maintain databases, as well as generate necessary reports. Track and maintain program records and documentation. Draft correspondence and letters to support program tasks. Provide assistance to program engineers with special and emerging tasks. Review and refine presentations, briefs, and formal correspondence for NAVSEA. Maintain Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) as required. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and track action items, leveraging initiatives for submarine sustainment support. Gather information and craft recommendations for senior decision-makers through concise written documents. Communicate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders, including Program Office representatives and contracting entities. Coordinate with the technical community to develop white papers and presentations on program status. Offer Subject Matter Expert (SME) support and assist the Government with technical analyses and data validation related to US submarines. Analyze and report on metrics for program issues, including delivery delays and availability challenges. Facilitate meetings by preparing and distributing agendas, minutes, and action items. Assist with resolutions to program requests and inquiries. Advise on PPBE issues concerning SSN/SSBN modernization. Organize and maintain program tracking files and tools for action items and status updates. Support the team with additional responsibilities and urgent task responses as assigned. Ensure compliance with Serco's Quality Assurance Program in all correspondence and deliverables. Qualifications for Success: An active DoD Secret clearance. US Citizenship. A Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience equivalent to a degree. A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, particularly with Navy acquisition or In-Service Programs. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills (both written and verbal). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent written communication skills for drafting impactful statements. Experience in project leadership and customer interaction. Willingness to travel at least 10% of the time. Preferred Experience: Active-Duty submarine service experience is a plus. Experience with Team Submarine is highly desirable.
