This position is contingent upon contract award and fundingPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential functions) Develops front-end and backend code for a cloud-based application supporting the Military Equipment Knowledge System (MEKS)Programming using ASP.NET, C#, and Angular or other languagesDesigns, develops, tests and implements software programsAnalyzes user’s software program needs and assists in troubleshootingDesigns and develops software using basic compilers, assemblers, utility programs and operating systemsMay perform or assist in systems modeling, simulation and analysis.May advise hardware design engineers on machine characteristics that affect software systemsMay provide input for documentation of new or existing programs _At COLSA, people are our most valuable resource and centered at our core value. We invite you to unite your talents with opportunity and be a part of our “Family of Professionals!” Learn about our employee-centric culture and benefitshere. _Required SkillsRequired ExperienceRequired Experience Bachelor's degree in STEM field such as computer science, information technology, information science, computer engineering, software engineering, information systems managementMinimum of 5 to 10 years of demonstrated experienceWorking knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, programs, spreadsheets, and database programsExperience across a full stack of software development technologies with proficiency of both front-end and back-end coding disciplines and software architectural principles.Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD 8570/8140 Baseline Certification (Security+ CE, SSCP, or equivalent) within 90 days of hireU.S. Citizenship required; Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET security clearance upon hire Preferred Qualifications Experience with .NET Core, .NET Framework, JQuery, Bootstrap frameworks and librariesExperience with Github, SQL Server, Jira, Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code tools and platformsDemonstrated experience with agile methodologies and version control best practicesKnowledge of containerization principlesMilitary background/experience is preferred, particularly familiarity with military equipment codes and terminologyCurrent active DoD SECRET clearance with the ability to qualify for TS/SCI and completion of a CI Scope PolygraphCurrent, active DoD 8570/8140 Baseline Certification (Security+ CE, SSCP, or equivalent).
