We are excited to invite a talented and dedicated professional to apply for the role of Senior Medical Director, Clinical Research - Oncology. In this pivotal position, you will lead the management and development of clinical studies while fostering strong relationships with investigators and key opinion leaders. Key Responsibilities: Own the design and implementation of clinical development programs that align with the overall product development strategy, utilizing robust medical and scientific principles. Educate and guide investigators, study site personnel, and study staff on project-related matters. Lead clinical study teams, ensuring study integrity and effectively communicating safety and efficacy data. Present at global scientific, medical, and regulatory meetings. Build and maintain strong collaborations with academic investigators and industry thought leaders. Contribute to regulatory filings by authoring clinical sections for INDs, NDAs, and related documents. Partner with Drug Safety & Pharmacovigilance to evaluate the safety profiles of compounds. Stay current with clinical and scientific literature, attending relevant meetings to enhance expertise. Engage in manuscript authorship and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve publication goals. Uphold the highest ethical and regulatory standards in all aspects of work. Participate in due diligence or business development activities as needed. Work alongside Discovery teams on the design and execution of translational strategies as necessary. Foster productive relationships with our parent company and other affiliates. Perform additional duties as required to support company goals. Core Competencies: Ability to lead complex clinical research initiatives independently. In-depth knowledge of clinical trial methodology, regulatory requirements, and development of clinical strategies. Demonstrated leadership skills with a collaborative and team-oriented approach. Exceptional communication and presentation abilities. Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing environments. Qualifications: Medical Doctor (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), or equivalent non-US MD. Completion of a residency program is preferred. Completion of a subspecialty fellowship is a plus. Experience in the management and treatment of myelofibrosis is recommended. 5-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical drug development is required. The base salary for this role ranges from $284,320 to $355,400, and may include opportunities for merit-based increases, participation in incentive programs, and comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and generous paid time off. Total compensation will be tailored based on individual candidate qualifications and experience.
