This role is the communications conduit between the kitchen and the drivers. The key to position is to ensure that the client receives 100% accuracy on every order. The expeditor is the connection that ensures each delivery is 100% complete in a timely manner.ResponsibilitiesPre-Planningo Confirms with the Kitchen the day before that each order is updated and correcto Develop a game plan for the delivery driver the day before for deliveries· Day Of Executiono Works off the BEO and checks off each item needed to complete the ordero Maintains verbal communication with the chef and cookso Conducts on-time check for kitchen and driverso Monitors the quality of dishes and ensures correct amounts are deliveredo Ensures adherence to health and sanitation standards of all orderso Temps all food before it leaves the kitcheno Confirms with the kitchen on the completion of each ordero Hands off order to delivery driver and confirms with the delivery driver the order is 100% complete and accurateo Addresses problems with accuracy and quality of each ordero Assists staff where needed· End of Day Listo Cleans and maintains all warming cabinetso Label Expo Boards DailyQualifications:Positive AttitudePrevious experience as a food expeditor or similar roleWorks well in a fast-paced, high stress environmentExcellent Communication and interpersonal skillsMultitasking and coordination skillsAttention to detail and goal orientedCaterease KnowledgeValid Driver’s LicenseClean Driving RecordCan Lift 50 pounds or moreReliable and PunctualCan work on weekends and holidays, and handle shifting work schedulesHigh school diploma or equivalentBenefits:Part-time schedule with up to 30 hours per weekConsistent morning shiftsPositive team environmentOpportunity to grow within the company·
