The Practice Operations Manager (POM) is responsible for overseeing all aspects of business operations within the practice. As a leader in a "people first" organization, the POM fosters a supportive and growth-oriented environment through effective coaching, mentoring, and performance management initiatives. By delivering exceptional patient experiences, the POM will focus on driving revenue growth, managing expenses, and enhancing profitability to align with the company's strategic goals. The POM collaborates closely with staff and optometry partners to provide high-quality eye exams, medical services, and a diverse selection of products while ensuring exceptional patient care. Utilizes leadership and analytical abilities to enhance practice performance and resolve operational challenges. Builds and sustains a collaborative and effective team culture that drives results. Identifies the practice’s strengths and areas for improvement, and develops tailored strategies and objectives. Communicates clear expectations and sets high standards for team performance. Ensures a remarkable patient services experience through adherence to the Acuity Way. Acts as a talent scout to recruit employees who align with AEG's core values, ensuring long-term organizational success. Collaborates closely with the District Manager to meet and surpass financial goals for the practice. Quickly learn and adapt to new challenges, pursuing creative solutions. Demonstrates a relentless pursuit of results while promoting best practices within the AEG platform. Maintains an open mindset towards change and continuous learning. Effectively manages resources to accomplish multiple objectives efficiently and with superior service. Regularly reviews daily sales, identifies discrepancies, and implements solutions to optimize performance. Reinforces the practice's sales strategies and the Acuity Way. Upholds company interests through effective loss prevention measures. Partners with Human Resources to ensure adherence to employee guidelines and company policies. 3-5 years of leadership experience in a professional setting. Degree in Business, Hospitality, or related management field experience. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Optician certification is preferred.
