GIS Analyst/Programmer

Job Title: GIS Analyst/Programmer Location: 200 I St, SE Washington DC 20003 Duration: 12+ months (Onsite) Job Description: The candidate is expected to support the creation and maintains of foundational datasets, support migration from DC VPM to Esri Parcel Fabric, and configure static map production, and web-based geospatial production using Esri ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online suite of products including but not limited to Instant Apps, Dashboards, Survey123, and Story Maps. Required / Desired Skills Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Strong hands-on experience in GIS technologies related to data production Required 2 Experience with Esri GIS tools including ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online Required 2 Experience in producing high quality data products complete with metadata Required 2 Experience with quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) of data products Required 2 Working knowledge of GIS techniques incl. map prod., geometry (point/line/polygon) editing (COGO), geocoding, (addressing & property/cadastral data) Required 2 Experience with SQL database queries and geospatial relationship queries Required 1 Experience with creating effective and aesthetically sound cartographic outputs Required 2 Experience with data management and metadata Required 2 Experience working with enterprise and file geodatabases Required 2 Experience utilizing aerial photography data Highly desired 1 Experience working with planimetric data Highly desired 1 Experience with Python scripting Desired 1 Bachelor's Degree in Geography, Computer Science or Planning, or related field or equivalent experience.
