First & Gold Foundation Status: Volunteer / Part-Time Time Commitment: Approximately 8–10 hours per week Location: Remote Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) About First & Gold Foundation First & Gold Foundation is a mission-driven nonprofit organization focused on expanding access, opportunity, and equity for youth and families through sports, education, and community-based programming. Position Overview The Brand & Content Lead is responsible for shaping and executing the First & Gold Foundation’s brand voice, storytelling, and content strategy. This role ensures that all public-facing content is consistent, compelling, and aligned with the organization’s mission and values. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Brand & Content Lead plays a key role in increasing awareness, engaging supporters, and communicating impact across digital and print channels. Key Responsibilities Brand Management Maintain and evolve the First & Gold Foundation brand voice, tone, and visual identity Ensure brand consistency across all communications and platforms Support the development of brand guidelines and messaging frameworks Content Strategy & Creation Develop and execute a content strategy aligned with organizational goals Create and manage content for social media, website, email campaigns, and marketing materials Oversee storytelling that highlights programs, participants, partners, and impact Digital & Social Media Support Plan and manage a content calendar in collaboration with the CMO Support social media campaigns, announcements, and fundraising initiatives Monitor engagement and adjust content to improve reach and effectiveness Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support Partner with program leadership to translate impact into compelling stories Support fundraising efforts through donor-focused messaging and campaign content Collaborate with designers, photographers, or volunteers as needed Measurement & Optimization Track basic content and engagement metrics Use insights to refine messaging and content strategy Report content performance and recommendations to the CMO Qualifications Experience in branding, content creation, communications, or marketing Strong writing and storytelling skills Familiarity with social media platforms and digital content best practices Experience working with nonprofits or mission-driven organizations preferred Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Creative, collaborative, and mission-aligned mindset Time Commitment Approximately 8–10 hours per week Flexible schedule; occasional support during campaigns or events may be required Why Volunteer with First & Gold Foundation?
