We are seeking a knowledgeable and collaborative Water/Wastewater Project Manager/Engineer to guide and support project delivery. This role is vital in serving our clients in Nashville, TN, and surrounding areas, ensuring that we implement consistent design and delivery processes while achieving project financial and quality goals. As a key player in our program/project delivery team, you will work closely with plant operations to meet client expectations and uphold Jacobs as the consultant-of-choice. Here are your key responsibilities: Lead Project Delivery: Take a leadership role in project execution, including the development and execution of contracts, oversight of consultants and contractors, construction oversight activities, and mentoring project engineers. Drive Client Engagement: Collaborate with the client service and sales teams to secure new projects by developing solutions and nurturing existing and new client relationships. Manage Project Phases: Oversee all stages of project planning, execution, and closeout, adhering to established processes to meet scope, schedule, budget, and contractual requirements. Exemplify Leadership: Demonstrate integrity and support Jacobs' Culture of Caring in the workplace. Qualifications: A Bachelor of Science in Civil/Environmental Engineering or a related field is required. Experience: A minimum of 5 years managing water or wastewater infrastructure projects is essential. Progressive Experience: Show demonstrated experience in areas such as wastewater, water, operations and maintenance consulting, or related services. Project Delivery Knowledge: Understand project delivery tools and metrics with a proven history of successfully guiding teams to meet client expectations. Key Attributes: Strong oral and written communication skills, self-motivation, collaborative work practices, and effective organizational approaches. Additional Skills: Experience in project management, staff management, and business development is preferred. Team Leadership: Ability to lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex infrastructure projects. Ideally, candidates will also have: Advanced Degree: A Master of Science in Civil/Environmental Engineering or a related field. Experience: More than 7 years of progressive experience in water or wastewater infrastructure design.
