Class B CDL Driver - Emergency Response

Clean Harbors is seeking a Class B CDL Driver to operate light and heavy-duty trucks and equipment at our customer sites. Responsibilities include using various vehicles such as Vacuum Trailers, roll-off trailers, box trucks, and high-powered vacuum loaders. As part of your role, you will perform driving and non-driving duties essential to hazardous waste clean-up operations. Commitment to sustainability and environmental protection Competitive Pay: $25+ per hour based on experience Comprehensive health benefits after 30 days of full-time work, including a 401K with company match Participate in our Employee Stock Purchase Plan Growth and development opportunities for all career stages Company-paid training and tuition reimbursement Key Responsibilities: Prioritize health and safety by adhering to safe work practices and policies Operate commercial trucks and support field laborers in a team-oriented environment Handle loading and unloading of trucks Deliver excellent customer service at each site Ensure proper vehicle placarding to comply with DOT and company regulations Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and various reports Observe all federal, state, and local regulations Follow company environmental health and safety guidelines Be available for emergency response on a rotating basis Engage in site remediation and handling hazardous materials as required Qualifications: Required: Valid Class B CDL Willingness to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days Ability to use mobile devices effectively Capability to perform physical tasks as needed Pass background check, drug test, and physical examination Meet OSHA respiratory protection standards related to facial hair Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a commercial driver Existing Hazmat and Tanker endorsements Familiarity with hazardous materials Ability to operate vehicles with manual transmission Experience in manual labor Clean Harbors is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
