Job Description

Will deliver continuous process improvements in terms of safety, quality, productivity and cost. Will provide manufacturing solutions and customer-focused service to plant personnel. Will develop new or improve existing manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment technologies. Work with set up teams and assist if needed. Primary skills and responsibilities: 5 years’+ experience as a CNC Programmer Competency with Solidworks and MasterCam software Must have extensive knowledge of CNC machining centers, work holding and tooling. Ensures employees know the budgeted time allotted per operation and the knowledge to think about the standard operating procedures for set up. Proficient with GD & T Design fixturing, work holding and tool selection for each part-project in detail. Programming general and 3D machining. 5 Axis programming preferred. Detailed oriented. Experience writing post processors a plus. Create models/geometry using Mastercam or solid works. May interface with sales, customers as needed and participate in product rescheduling and modifications of the production plan. Being able to work in a team environment. Being adaptable to being called out to machine and help trouble shoot. Able to multitask programming and working with machinists. Work with Set up personnel and assist in sets up. Explain and train machinist on set ups and adjusting machines. Other responsibilities may be added or assumed based on necessity.
