What You Will Do: The successful candidate will be willing and able to: Medical Management: Maintain advanced clinical expertise in Family Practice aligned with current guidelines and standards of care. Monitor and support clinician performance through established metrics, peer review, and annual evaluations in collaboration with the CMO. Develop and implement improvement strategies for underperforming clinicians or sites. Review, update, and develop Family Practice policies, procedures, workflows, and EHR templates. Oversee resource and referral utilization; establish standardized referral processes to improve access to specialty care. Collaborate regularly with the CMO on clinical issues, performance, and strategic priorities; participate in required meetings. Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and corporate integrity requirements. Promote a culture of trust, collaboration, and accountability across the organization. Clinical Services: Provide comprehensive, high-quality Family Practice care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, referrals, and preventive services. Address acute, chronic, and preventive health needs; obtain consults or transfer care when outside scope or due to personal or religious limitations. Deliver patient-centered, culturally sensitive care and provide health education to patients and families. Collaborate with clinic staff to support care coordination and patient engagement. Maintain efficient care delivery while meeting quality, productivity, and fiscal goals. Respond to patient messages and review/sign clinical results in a timely manner. Complete medical records and billing accurately and within required timeframes. Maintain licensure and clinical competency through ongoing continuing education. Compensation Disclosure: MD/DO $230,880.00 - $300,144.00 annually & NP/PA $143,520.00 - $186,576.00 annually The compensation range listed reflects Elica's good-faith estimate of the anticipated hiring range for this position in accordance with California pay transparency requirements. Final compensation will be determined based on job-related factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, skills, and qualification. RequirementsAt least three years of recent experience in outpatient primary care practice. Experience in a FQHC setting preferred. Previous management or leadership experience. Meet and maintain all criteria for EHC's Physician Credentialing/Privileges, including the following: Completion of a M.D. or D.O. degree from an U.S. accredited medical school, school of osteopathy medicine, or FMG with ECFMG or Fifth pathway certification, with completion of a US accredited residency program in Family Practice, OR Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program Current Board Certification in Family Practice. Current, valid and unrestricted State of California medical licensure. Unrestricted ability to obtain Medicare, Medi-Cal, and other payor credentialing. Current BLS certification. ACLS or PALS certification desirable. Additional Requirements Must have a current and valid California driver's license and the ability to provide proof of personal auto insurance on the vehicle driven during working hours. The employee must also possess hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the phone. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
