Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Cisco Voice Network Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Cisco Unified Communications platforms. The role involves administering, monitoring, and supporting enterprise-grade voice and unified communication systems, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance. Key Responsibilities: Administer and support Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unity Connection, and Cisco Contact Center Enterprise (CCE). Monitor unified communication system applications to ensure peak performance and uptime. Participate in monthly system patching and testing of Unified Communication systems. Provide regular status updates on tasks, issues, and progress toward goals. Create and maintain standard operating procedure (SOP) documentation. Monitor and test voice network performance, providing performance statistics and reports. Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams and business stakeholders for issue resolution and improvements. Work with UC Engineers on higher-level projects and enhancements. Coordinate with vendors for circuit implementation, upgrades, and troubleshooting. Must-Have Skills: 8+ years of hands-on experience in Cisco Voice Administration. Strong expertise in: Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) Cisco Unity Connection Cisco Contact Center Enterprise (CCE) Knowledge of voice network performance monitoring and troubleshooting. Experience with system patching, upgrades, and maintenance. Strong documentation and reporting skills. Ability to collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams. Good to Have Skills: Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNP Collaboration, CCIE Collaboration). Experience in SIP, VoIP protocols, and call routing. Knowledge of cloud-based collaboration tools (Webex, MS Teams integration). Exposure to network security within voice environments.
