Job Description

We are looking for a talented SAP Master Data Manager to lead the global optimization and enhancement of master data to support operational business processes and reporting requirements. We are a leading global medical device and healthcare solutions company dedicated to helping patients resume and enjoy active lives through innovative therapeutic solutions. Work Location: Hybrid onsite in Durham, NC or Memphis, TN (3 days per week) Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire Rate Range: $60 - $65 / hr W2 This role is NOT eligible for visa sponsorship or C2CJob Duties: Architect the Global Data Strategy for SAP Master Data Management (MDM) to achieve data standardization and information management. Design and maintain governance standards, quality benchmarks, and scorecards to ensure global data accuracy and consistency. Lead and upskill a dedicated team responsible for maintaining high-quality master data across the enterprise. Partner with Customer Service, Finance, IT, and Sales Ops to translate business requirements into technical data fields and reporting. Architect and implement data integrations and controls in collaboration with IT technical teams. Manage the change request process to ensure SLAs are met and maintain security compliance of all master data. Lead cross-functional data cleansing, mass data creation, and initial data setup initiatives. Ideal Background: 8+ years of experience in data management, with 5+ years specifically in Master Data, Data Governance, or Data Quality. Expert-level functional skills in all master data areas of SAP and experience with the SAP/HANA Sales and Distribution (SD) module. Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting. Deep functional knowledge of business processes including Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Record to Report. Familiarity with healthcare-specific data environments, including health systems, IDNs, GPOs, and payers. Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, SQL Server, or contract management systems is preferred.
