Skilled Precision CNC Machinist - Mill or LathePosition Title: CNC Precision Machinist (Mill or Lathe Specialist) Schedule: Full-Time | 40-50 hours per week | Monday-Friday Overtime: Optional Saturdays available Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour depending on experience in precision programming & machining Position Overview: We have an open position for a skilled Precision Machinist specializing in either CNC Mill or CNC Lathe programming and machining. This individual will be responsible for programming, setup, and production of high-precision components while maintaining tight tolerances and quality standards. Responsibilities: Program, set up, and operate CNC Mills or Lathes Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings Perform precision machining with tight tolerances Edit G-code and optimize programs for efficiency Conduct in-process inspections and quality checks Troubleshoot machining or programming issues Maintain clean and safe work environment Qualifications: Experience in precision CNC programming and machining Strong knowledge of Mill or Lathe operations Ability to hold tight tolerances Proficiency reading blueprints and GD&T Strong problem-solving skills Dependable with strong work ethic Career Path: High-performing candidates will be eligible to transition to a permanent role with our client after successfully completing the required contract period and meeting performance standards.
