2nd Shift - Manufacturing Packaging

Job Summary: The Pack and Ship position manually prepares packages according to written or computer-generated orders. This position will be responsible for proper labeling, boxing, and storage of items that will be shipped to customers. Duties/Responsibilities: Observes operations and inspects packaged items for conformance with specifications Tallies, weighs, transports, stacks, and arranges products and packed containers May obtain and sort items to be packaged and replenish packaging supplies Arranges orders from shelves, bins, or warehouse stock Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to understand and follow directions Ability to lift/move heavy objects Problem-solving skills Detail oriented Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED preferred Experience in a packaging role is a plus Experience working with hand scanners and using basic computer functions Physical Requirements: Ability to sit/stand for prolonged periods of time Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly
