Position Summary The Distribution Supervisor implements and oversees the day-to-day functions of the warehouse. This includes the recruiting, training, and supervising of warehouse staff. This individual is responsible for maintaining inventory and working with eShipping departments to coordinate deliveries in and out of the warehouse space. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to the following: • Act as immediate supervisor of warehouse staff • Coordinate scheduling of warehouse employees • Provide training and certification of forklift driving for employees • Confirm product is labeled appropriately • Coordinate inbound and outbound loads • Enforce safety regulations, ensure employees comply with and use personal protection equipment • Administer compliance of food grade warehousing standards • Inventory Control • Cycle counting • Manage Overage, Shortage and Damaged Product procedures • Ensure associates maintain equipment and cleanliness of warehouse • Other duties as assigned Required Skills and Abilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
