ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions Define comprehensive scenarios and variations in data to perform robust manual and automated testing. Schedule and complete functional testing across multiple email clients. Submit errors and issues to development for correction and retest once resolved. Report test results and status accurately and timely. Track defects and perform causal analysis to closure. Review and certify test results of other analysts and testers. Create and/or review requirements, design, and scope documents. Help set standards for test design and advocate established testing procedures. Interact with Relationship Manager, Campaign Operation and Development teams to refine test requirements. Coordinate and/or perform testing projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring timelines and budgets are met. Serve as liaison between technical and non-technical teams to ensure all targets and requirements are met. Maintain test libraries, databases, and environments. Assist with documentation updates and corrections. Support automated scripts from team members where applicable. Mentor less experienced QC team members. Future-Forward Responsibilities (AI & Automation Trends) Explore and implement AI-powered QC tools for automated rendering validation and predictive error detection. Integrate machine learning for anomaly detection and proactive issue resolution. Drive adoption of automated regression testing and intelligent test case generation. Investigate generative AI for dynamic content testing and personalization validation. Stay ahead of trends in marketing automation, including AI-driven segmentation and adaptive testing strategies. This role may be a strong fit for professionals with backgrounds in: Senior proofreading or editorial QA Content quality assurance Digital production or campaign operations Email or web QA/testing QualificationsKnowledge & Skills Strong understanding of manual quality control processes, including editorial and content-focused QC, as well as experience with automated QC tools or systems. Expert-level proficiency in English grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style, with the ability to identify nuanced content, formatting, and contextual issues. Proven experience in proofreading and content quality control for digital assets, with a high level of attention to detail. Working knowledge of email and/or website QC testing, including content validation, links, layout, rendering, and functional checks. Familiarity with software development and testing lifecycles, or the ability to collaborate effectively with developers and technical teams. Ability to clearly document QC findings and editorial edits, translating feedback into actionable, developer-ready notes for operations and development partners. Familiarity with marketing automation platforms, digital production workflows, and emerging AI-assisted QC technologies. Requirements Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience. 5+ years of experience in quality control, proofreading, editorial QA, content QA, testing, or related digital production roles. Demonstrated background in proofreading or editorial review, ideally within a digital, marketing, or web-based environment. Experience or exposure to email and/or website testing, including reviewing content, links, layout, and functionality prior to launch. Comfort working cross-functionally and communicating written QC feedback to developers, operations teams, and stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong documentation habits. Passion for maintaining high quality standards while adapting to automation, AI, and evolving digital platforms. Project management or multi-workstream coordination experience preferred. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in campaign operations, digital production, or agency environments. Familiarity with QC tools such as email rendering/testing platforms, browser testing tools, or defect tracking systems. Experience collaborating in Agile or fast-paced delivery models. Compensation Range: $73,150 - $107,744 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
