Welder

Job Duties: Prepares surfaces to be welded, fits parts, welds piping and manifolds Cut, grind, drill holes and weld steel to blueprint specifications May use plasma cutter to cut I-beams and steel plates Tack welds scrap metal to outline to provide jig for assembly Position parts in jig and files, chisels, and grinds parts, as indicated, to weld them together Anneals parts with acetylene torch to remove stresses of welding Job Requirements: Requires 2- 4 years TIG or MIG welding experience Will weld carbon steel structural shapes and skid frames and chassis Must be able to weld from all angles and positions and possess mechanical aptitude Need to be able to lift 50+ lbs and have ability to stoop, crouch, bend, climb and kneel Equal Opportunity Employer: Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran.
