Logistic Specialist

Adecco is currently assisting a local customer in their search for a Logistics Specialist in Orlando, FL. Perks: • Shift: Onsite - Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm • Friday and Saturday OFF • Weekly paycheck • Pay: $18.00 / hr • Access to Adecco's Aspire Academy with thousands of free upskilling courses Responsibilities: • Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders into the Freight Optimizer system. • Update account managers on problem loads and actions taken; provide receivers and customers with load status updates. • Monitor daily pickups and deliveries to ensure ontime arrivals and proper condition. • Take check calls from drivers and validate all load data before marking loads delivered for accounting purposes. • Investigate overages, shortages, and damages, and complete the appropriate documentation. • Schedule or reschedule delivery appointments and accept or decline loads based on account manager instructions. • Provide detailed routing instructions to drivers and ensure proper load flow. • Deliver excellent customer service while multitasking in a fastpaced environment. Requirements: • Minimum 1 year of logistics experience. • General knowledge of the transportation industry. • Ability to multitask and follow written, verbal, or diagrambased instructions. • Microsoft 365 proficiency required. • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. • Experience writing reports or correspondence is a plus. • Bilingual preferred but not required.
