Job Description Title: Scrum Master Location: St. Paul, MN Job Type: Contract (12 Months) Compensation: $64 - $84 p/h W2 (no C2C) Industry: Chemical Manufacturing --- About the Role We are partnering with a global leader in water treatment, hygiene technologies, and sustainable operational solutions to support the hiring of a seasoned Scrum Master. As Scrum Master, you will guide Agile teams delivering impactful, enterprise-scale digital products used worldwide. You will foster collaboration, drive continuous improvement, and ensure Scrum practices are upheld to enable high-performing teams. Job Description The Scrum Master facilitates Agile processes, ensures Scrum practices are followed, and fosters a collaborative, efficient, and continuously improving team environment. Job Responsibilities Facilitate Scrum Events such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring productive participation and outcomes. Remove Impediments that slow team progress, addressing challenges that affect timelines or morale. Coach & Mentor team members on Agile principles, self-management, and cross-functional collaboration. Collaborate with the Product Owner to maintain a well-prioritized, transparent, and actionable product backlog. Promote Continuous Improvement by encouraging regular inspection and adaptation of workflows and team practices. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field. 8-10 years of relevant professional experience. Experience with Azure DevOps and ADO dashboarding Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving capability, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Proven leadership and mentoring abilities. Understanding of strategic planning, resource allocation, and process optimization. Technical Must-Haves: Agile delivery Analytical acumen Azure DevOps Server Preferred MBA or related advanced degree. PMI-ACP or PMP certification. Knowledge of software tools or languages such as Visual Basic, Java, SQL.
