License: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) is required. Certifications: NBSTSA certification Must-Have: Experience in cardiovascular, pulmonary, thoracic, and transplant surgical procedures is essential. Description: We are a Level 1 Trauma Hospital that receives high volume, high acuity cases. We need experienced surgical technicians for our cardiovascular operating room. Candidates must be certified surgical technologists. Experience in cardiovascular, pulmonary, thoracic, and transplant surgical procedures is required. Shifts primarily occur during the day with a rotation to evening shifts as necessary for case coverage. There is a rotating overnight call rotation included. A commitment to working every other weekend and every other holiday is expected.
