Job #: 147383 Title: Tool & Fixture Specialist B Location: New Orleans, LA Salary Range: 31.80 Position: Tooling Description: Support tooling readiness and manufacturing operations by performing setup, fabrication, maintenance, and movement of tools and fixtures to ensure production requirements are met. Perform routine tool setup activities and assist with fabrication and preventative maintenance to support manufacturing objectives. Requirements: #Job Details Facility Type: Manufacturing Aircraft Worked: N/A Job Duration: Contract - 12 Months Schedule: First Shift Tools: RequiredPay Rate: Up to $37.09/hour #Education & Job Requirements High School Diploma or GED A minimum of 1 year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, such as vocational school or an Associate degree Electrical background Welding background Experience operating forklifts Ability to read and understand blueprint drawings Ability to work onsite full-time Ability to work first shift hours Eligibility to meet US export compliance requirementsAbility to obtain and maintain required badging credentials #Preferred Skills Experience supporting tooling fabrication and assembly processesExperience supporting manufacturing operations #Job Duties & Functions Perform routine tool setup activities and minor tool repairs Manufacture, assemble, and fabricate tools and fixtures Operate factory support equipment to move materials and tools as required Provide tooling support to other organizations Assist in determining fabrication and assembly processes for tooling design Assist in reverse engineering design and fabrication processes for parts Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure tooling readiness Use staging tools and forklifts to move equipment and toolingFollow tooling instructions and blueprint requirements to ensure proper tool usage #Physical Requirements & Environment Ability to lift tools weighing up to 35 pounds Ability to operate forklifts and material handling equipmentWork performed in a manufacturing environment #TeamGlobal Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), and more!
