Utilize your skills in inpatient settings to conduct evaluations and provide therapy when necessary, maintaining a seamless continuum of care. Commit to ongoing professional development, staying abreast of advancements in speech-language pathology through continuous education and networking with peers. Education A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications Must possess State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days post-hire. Skills Expertise in evidence-based therapeutic methods across age groups with a robust grasp of both developmental and traumatic speech, language, and swallowing challenges.
