Adecco is hiring immediately for an Electrical/RF Technician with a local client in Rochester, NY. Pay is $50.00/hr. - $60.00/hr. Duties: • Shift: 8hrs/day, 5days/week, 8:00AM-4:30PM We are seeking a highly motivated electrical/RF technician to join for an 18-month contract position the staff of a R&D technology team that develops solutions to help automate the global semiconductor manufacturing industry. • You will be at the forefront of this disruption by using the latest advances in software, sensors, Controls and AI/ML algorithms to create component and system level control systems to enable our next generation process tools. • Liaison between Rochester development efforts and technology stakeholders at the business units for coordination of schedule, deployment, performance evaluation, and feedback of feature assessment for critical technology deliveries. • Lab management of embedded development, RF & power electronics, tools and test equipment. • Electrical/RF engineering responsibility for the operation, maintenance, and modification of process power technology used in RF product development and experimentation. • Troubleshoot a wide variety of problems ranging from general equipment failure to complex Design of Experiments. • Provide timely status updates and proactive communications on issues to technology stakeholders. • Compiles data with an accompanying assessment for operational meetings and/or special reports, analysis, and statements. • Compliance and enforcement of lab procedures and safety. • Occasional support in areas of machining/fabrication as well as circuit design, debug, and rework using standard tools: oscilloscope, multimeter, network analyzer etc. Qualifications: • Associates degree and 10+ years of experience OR Bachelors degree and 5+ years of experience in technical field covering electrical/RF discipline. • Familiarity with reading/interpreting electrical schematics and basic electrical/RF circuits. • Demonstrated ability to work on highly complex systems comprised of many sub-systems. • Critical thinker with excellent analytical skills, as well as troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. • Strong sense of curiosity to drive self-motivation to learn new skills and challenging technologies. • Demonstrated self-management skills; proven ability to meet objectives, goals, and schedule commitments with minimal supervision. • Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams; works within broad guidelines and policies. • Familiarity with electrical simulation tools such as LT Spice (or similar) is desired. • Experience in data collection using Matlab / Python or similar tools for analysis is highly desired.
