License: State license in Iowa is required Certifications: BLS certification is required Must-Have: EPIC experience is required Description: Quickly interviewing viable candidates. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses. Candidates must have a taxable address more than 60 miles from the facility. As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients. The traveler will work 4 days in the outpatient clinic and 1 day a week in acute care. If candidates are willing to work an acute weekend 1-2 while on assignment, that will be considered favorable. The call schedule includes on-call hours on Saturday and Sunday. Only ortho-neuro and safety discharge patients will be seen. This is not a deal breaker, but some travelers prefer to work a couple of weekends, which helps alleviate the burden on the permanent team.
