Engineering Manager

Job Title: Engineering Manager - Native Apps Location-Type: Hybrid (Onsite 3 days/week) Start Date Is: ASAP Duration: Permanent Compensation Range: $180,000 - $190,000 annually + relocation assistance Job Description: Lead and scale the native mobile engineering organization, owning Android and iOS application strategy, delivery, and team performance. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Oversee Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift) native app engineering teams Serve as domain owner for all native mobile applications Partner closely with Product to align roadmap, priorities, and delivery Lead, mentor, and develop engineering managers and senior engineers Ensure high standards in code quality, architecture, and release management Drive execution, remove blockers, and improve team health and performance Support CI/CD processes and release cycles across mobile platforms Requirements: Must-Haves: 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong mobile development background Prior experience managing engineering teams (including managing managers preferred) Hands-on background in Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift) development Proven experience partnering cross-functionally with Product leadership Experience overseeing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps) Nice-to-Haves: Experience in media, digital content, or consumer-facing mobile apps Exposure to automation and quality engineering best practices Experience scaling distributed or hybrid teams
