MLee Healthcare has been engaged by a leading healthcare provider in Charlotte, NC, to find talented and motivated Interventional Radiology Techs to join their growing team. Incentives: Up-to $15k offered for sign-on & $5k relo package Shift: 5x8s or 4x10s Days Job Responsibilities: Providing assistance during invasive angio and interventional procedures in the Interventional Radiology Suite. Coordinating surgical scrub and circulation tasks to ensure comprehensive patient care throughout the procedure. Monitoring patients within the Interventional Radiology area. Conducting specialized radiography and fluoroscopic coverage of interventional and angiographic procedures under the guidance of a physician. Explaining procedures to patients and preparing them for the upcoming intervention. Procuring medications, radiopharmaceuticals, or contrast materials for administration as directed by a licensed practitioner, authorized/certified technologist, or registered nurse. Ensuring patient comfort and providing necessary supplies during diagnostic and therapeutic invasive procedures. Managing the removal of catheters/sheaths and applying appropriate pressure or clamps. Offering timely and accurate reports, including hemodynamic reports, contrast media records, and charges. Inputting patient data and inventory into the designated program, as well as arranging for the review of films. Notifying leadership or the department engineer about any equipment malfunctions for prompt repairs. Required Skills: Ability to stand and walk while wearing 10 to 15 pound lead radiation protection aprons. Experience with exposure to radiation, secretions, and blood. Adaptability to working in confined areas. Normal vision, manual dexterity, and excellent eye-hand coordination for efficient equipment operation. Maintaining constant concentration during procedures. Education and Certification: High School Diploma or GED. Completion of an ANA accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or an accredited Radiology Interventional Program. BLS HCP certification from AHA. RTR certification. Preferred: 1 year in diagnostic and 1 year in Interventional Radiology.
